Position Overview:  This position is in charge of managing the Iowa Branch Office.

Essential Job Functions:

• Direct all operational aspects of assigned branch
• Help generate sales and development relationships with prospective and key clients (Branch & Corporate)
• Develop branch forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans
• Coordinate with Corporate Office for job estimating, project tracking and profitability
• Assist with local Federal Projects as applicable (e.g. attend meetings, provide reports)
• Participate in leadership and management decision making for Iowa operations
• Support management in development of annual Iowa Branch budget including ; sales goals, staffing, marketing strategy and any other expense(s) necessary
• Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions and follow up
• Obtain and oversee subcontractors and crews as applicable
• Act as resource and mentor to all branch staff, offering training, coaching, development and motivation
• Become familiar with current CRM system to track sales and production
• Develop annual branch budget in accordance with company objectives
• Recruit and hire necessary staff for exceptional performance within Iowa branch
• Maintain consistent communication with corporate office

Position Overview: As a crew member of our roofing teams you must be a motivated hard working team player with a positive attitude and ability to communicate. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with various roofing installation methods and materials specializing in “everything” roofing. As a roofing crew member at JR & Co. you will work as part of a spirited team that will go above and beyond to get a job done. This position is responsible for carrying out the day to day production needs of the company by ensuring quality workmanship.

Essential Job Functions:

• Help set-up, maintain and clean-up project sites as well as warehouse to ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times
• Willing to learn the JR & Co. way of installing, maintaining and repairing roofs on both commercial and residential structures.
• Demonstrate great time-management skills, reliability and punctuality, ensuring completion of daily job-site timesheets.
• Must show up promptly to job site ready to complete high quality work; requesting clarification or assistance when needed.

Job Title: Commercial Roofing Foreman

Reports To: Crew Foreman

Position Overview: As a Foreman at JR & Co. you will be in charge of the overall quality of work as well as job site safety and crew management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for crew trucks, trailers, tools, & job site at all times.
• Review shop drawings and site plans with CM and complete pre-job walk through with CM and/or Salesman
• Track and review crew members time sheets weekly resolving any issues in and ensuring prompt submission by appropriate deadline
• Help to ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times
• Maintain professional and consistent communication with customers, supervisors and co-workers
• Pre-plan for following days work, including weather expectations
• Coordinate with CM and/or Warehouse Staff and manage trailer, inventory and re-stock weekly
• Ensure all tools are properly and securely stored to prevent theft or damage; reporting missing, damaged, or unsafe tools to CM immediately
• Ensure proper load tie-down method and obtaining CM approval prior to transport
• Notify CM of any unauthorized or non-detailed work on shop drawings or any other work not specifically instructed to perform by CM prior to performance. Do not perform any out of scope work prior to Approval of Written Change Orders.
• OSHA training (JR & Co. will provide if necessary) and continual training as necessary
• Using Filed Ease program for daily reports
• Submit ALLreceipts to accounting timely; no later than the end of the month

Needed Skills:

• Proficient math skills for calculating building areas, lengths and height accurately using a 25’ tape measure

• Perform routine inspections of ongoing jobs while providing accountability and guidance; visiting jobs sites daily
• Help to ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times
• Maintain professional and consistent communication with customers, supervisors and co-workers
• Conduct foreman and crew evaluations providing guidance, goals, training and disciplinary actions when required
• Schedule materials, equipment and deliveries, paying special attention to using inventoried materials
• Proactively coordinate construction activities, perform inspections, and problem solve in order to avoid work impacts and reduce inefficiencies.
• Maintain schedule ensuring customer satisfaction; providing assistance in corrections & overruns when needed

Position Overview:  JR and Co., Inc. Commercial Account Managers are responsible for developing and sustaining gross profit growth to meet company growth goals, in the commercial roofing sector, through developing long-term client relationships built upon trust and expertise, and performance.  As the representatives of our company, maintaining a professional appearance and a strong business acumen are imperative.

Essential Job Functions:

• Accurately assess potential customers’ roofing needs in a professional manner
• Follow up on sales leads in a timely fashion and document the quality of the lead
• Provide well documented consultation and approved proposals to clients using sales tools while following the JR and Co., Inc. sales process
• Meet sales goals that are established by company management
• Process complete pre-estimate information for estimating
• Negotiate favorable margins and terms within company guidelines
• Professionally present all JR and Co., Inc. capabilities to clients
